Jeongwoo Ryu

Hi, I am Jeongwoo, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the SNU Center for AI Education and Research, Seoul National University. I received my Ph.D. in Engineering from Seoul National University in August 2026, advised by Prof. Bongwon Suh in the Human-Centered Computing Lab.

I study Human-Centered AI at the intersection of NLP, IR, and HCI. My research examines how AI shapes human cognition and behavior, with the goal of improving models and systems to strengthen human capabilities and support responsible and safe use.

Before my Ph.D., I received an M.S. in Digital Contents and Information Studies from the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology at Seoul National University, also under Prof. Bongwon Suh, and a B.S. in Engineering from Yonsei University.
